Description

An exciting opportunity for an event coordinator to assist with events management at a successful and well established Investment Bank based in Canary Wharf. This is a role that requires previous event marketing experience, fantastic communication skills and proficiency using Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver small meetings, events, conference and seminars
  • Manage all components of project budgets, including any approval processes and risk controls
  • Work to prescribed budgets, preparing pre-event and post-event costings
  • Handling all event logistics and creating cost effective solutions for the client
  • Liaise with internal business areas within the firm and external corporate clients and investors
  • Ensure and execute compliance of Firm’s policies with regards to governance compliance audit and risk and finance
  • Ensure adherence to all budgetary guidelines
  • Maintain data integrity within the event management database

Requirements

  • Previous experience delivering high profile events
  • Ability to manage multiple small projects and tasks simultaneously with guidance and supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Team player, willing to work in a collaborative team
  • Shows initiative and a proactive working ethic
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Able to manage and prioritise a heavy workload to a high standard
  • A flexible approach to work hours and when necessary travel schedules
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Developed Microsoft Office Skills
