A wonderful opportunity for an ambitious self-starter to shape the future of digital marketing at this mid-sized wealth manager, developing digital strategy and managing digital marketing communications and campaigns with significant autonomy.

Working in a small, close-knit team in a very busy environment, the successful candidate will be a hard-working individual, client-focussed with the ability to think strategically and the credibility to influence at a senior level, while being fully prepared to work hands-on day-to-day.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with the Head of Marketing & Communications to define and deliver the digital marketing strategy and campaign plans
  • Senior stakeholder education and management to raise the profile and understanding of digital marketing
  • Managing relationships with all digital suppliers to ensure delivery to time, quality and budget
  • Budget tracking and management – overall and by campaign/activity
  • Ensuring all marketing materials/activities are client-centric, up-to-date and fully compliant
  • Developing and tracking metrics and success criteria for all marketing activities
  • Acting as a brand ambassador, responsible for consistent digital adherence to brand guidelines
  • Supporting internal staff communications, through email creation and distribution and SharePoint/intranet development and management
  • Supporting traditional marketing activities including client events, production of monthly and quarterly client publications and other collateral
  • Line management of a marketing executive



  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in Financial Services
  • Track record of implementing marketing strategies and plans that have consistently met or exceeded planned objectives
  • Significant experience in maintaining a high-performing website, implementing digital marketing campaigns and testing strategies
  • Experience of extracting, analysing and interpreting digital metrics, applying that knowledge to recommend/make changes
  • Ability to manage outsourced marketing activities (working with external partners e.g. digital, creative and studio agencies, media agencies and printers)
  • Detailed working knowledge of digital systems and experience using marketing automation systems, integrated/automated journey management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Commercially focussed
  • Adept at managing multiple projects and varying priorities within tight deadlines
  • A proactive line manager focussed on developing and supporting colleagues
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
